Thanks! I'll have to figure out a way to express that better. Mainstream media isn't stepping into slot content. There isn't a "big slot" financing media that's network traction. But, it makes sense that some influencers are finding a way to get involved since a lot of people enjoy the activity so much. Appreciate the info.

"Bet the Board" by Payne Insider and Todd Fuhrman has been an outstanding podcast for about a decade now. They do a terrific job with sophisticated, in-depth coverage of the games, the matchups and the markets. I've learned so much from them. And they are the polar opposite of hot take-y or offering up "lead pipe locks" or other buffoonery of that nature. Going forward, I anticipate plenty of opportunities for high-quality content. Right now there are oodles and oodles of LOW-QUALITY content out there. The cream always rises to the top.

Yes, they have an excellent podcast. But the difference is that unlike Charles Barkley, Payne actually operates a betting syndicate with professional bettors.

I certainly would not expect Barkley or Bradshaw to provide any betting advice that could be profitable. In fact, I’m certain that any possible road to profitability would be to do the opposite of what they say. But a winning pro bettor broadcasting to large audiences in ESPN, for example, would quickly become worthless, as the line moves immediately after releasing the selections would cause the value to evaporate. The silly celebrity “picks” will go on for the next decade, helping nobody but the sportsbook operators

Just fluff and promos and picks. Just look at VSIN from their start till now. Draftkings bought em and turned into one long promo. Captain Jack and Unabated is the best I can find for actionable , intelligent, sports betting information. And of course Jeff Fogle.

Good stuff. At some point it has to evolve way past just giving out picks. News and how it impacts sports betting...while people do do that, it doesn't always feel like it happens in real time other than on social media. I would be interested to see what that looks like.

One aside on slot machines. While there's not really "media" per se there is actually a huge audience for people watching slot machine content, believe it or not. One influencer in particular makes a lot of money from it.

The only piece of slot machine media worth consuming is "Top Slots: Spotting the Best" with Jimmy “The Scot” Jordan, and that's only because it comes packaged with "Surviving Edged Weapons" and "Manners: Who Needs Them?"
